Alex Davies has been named as the new captain of Warwickshire, following Will Rhodes' decision to step down after four years in the role. Davies, 29, has played in excess of 50 senior counterparts for the club across designs since joining from Lancashire in 2021, and in last season's Essentialness Impact, he drove the side to ten successes out of ten in the wake of venturing into the gig following Moeen Ali's startling Cinders review.
