Arafat named Pakistan's high-performance coach for New Zealand T20Is

There's been another change in the Pakistan coaching set-up, with Yasir Arafat joining the crew for the side's five-match T20I series in New Zealand. Arafat has been appointed high-performance coach, and will replace the current man in the role, Simon Helmot. ESPNcricinfo comprehends it was a somewhat late choice with respect to the PCB, and Arafat will fly straightforwardly to New Zealand with Pakistan's T20I subject matter experts. It is perceived that he has been allocated to the public side for only that one series for the occasion. Helmot had been named as a component of the training staff for the continuous Australia series, yet as per a PCB source, he has individual responsibilities. This imprints one more change since Mohammad Hafeez was given the job of group chief and lead trainer for Pakistan's visit through Australia, supplanting Mickey Arthur and Award Bradburn. Arthur and Bradburn are still on the PCB's books, yet didn't go to Australia, and have not yet been alloted somewhere else. Following Hafeez's arrangement, Umar Gul was reported as the quick bowling trainer, Saeed Ajmal as the twist bowling trainer, Adam Hollioake as the batting mentor, and Helmot the superior presentation mentor. Those arrangements should have been present moment as a result of conditions - this is an interval PCB set-up and formal races have not yet been held; it misses the mark on protected capacity to make long haul arrangements. Arafat, who has past training experience in New Zealand as well as in Britain, played 27 global matches, including 13 T20Is, and was a piece of Pakistan's triumphant 2009 T20 World Cup crew, however he played only one game in the competition. The T20I series against New Zealand starts on January 12, with the last game on January 21.
