Khwaja, initially from Singapore Cricket and generally from the Partner individuals, met no resistance in his re-appointment bid. In contrast to last time, when he needed to shrink off challenge from Cricket West Indies' Ricky Skerritt, no assignment was documented against him this time around. The entire interaction was done on the web. "The interaction began after the Director political decision and it finished today. No other person needed it. No resistance so no political decision," an ICC part told Cricket. Khwaja at present stands firm on a Partner Part Chief foothold on the Board having been reappointed at the ICC Yearly Gathering in July 2022. Khwaja was first chosen for the ICC Board in 2008 and has filled in as Representative Seat starting around 2017. Prior last week, Greg Barclay of New Zealand was reappointed to the ICC Seat and with Khwaja's re-arrangement, the ICC will have the very chosen administration that came to drive in 2020. The main significant change in the entire arrangement is the presence of Jay Shah, who holds the strong and esteemed Money and Business Undertakings (F&CA) administrator position.
