Nottinghamshire Confirm Michael Temple as Permanent Chief Executive
Official Appointment: Nottinghamshire have confirmed Michael Temple as their permanent Chief Executive with immediate effect.
Transition from Interim: Temple had been serving as the club’s interim chief executive and commercial director prior to his full-time confirmation. Predecessor: He takes over the permanent role following the departure of former chief executive Richard Kenyon, who left to join Lancashire.
Background & Experience: Temple brings extensive venue management and sports administration experience, having spent 16 seasons across two spells at Trent Bridge, along with prior roles at Glamorgan CCC and London’s Olympic Stadium.
"The support I've received over the past few weeks and throughout my 16 seasons at Trent Bridge has been immense, and I'm incredibly proud to lead a group of people that care about this club as deeply as I do and are committed to shaping a prosperous future."
"We look forward to working with Michael to support successful teams, further strengthen the club's financial position, develop our facilities and ensure Trent Bridge continues to offer an outstanding experience for everyone who visits."
Kenyon succeeded the long-serving Lisa Pursehouse in 2025 but had been in the role for less than a year before being appointed by Lancashire, the club he had supported since boyhood.
