Third India-Australia Test moved to Indore

Indore will have the third Line Gavaskar Test, the BCCI affirmed on Monday, February 13. As revealed already, the Test must be moved out of Dharamsala with the setting considered not prepared after investigation by the BCCI. "Attributable to cruel winter conditions in the area, the outfield needs adequate grass thickness and will require an opportunity to grow completely," said the BCCI in its explanation as the justification for the difference in setting. The timetable for the series continues as before with Indore facilitating the Test from Walk 1 to 5. The ground has previously facilitated two Tests with India taking on New Zealand in 2016 and Bangladesh in 2019. All the more as of late, the scene played host to an ODI among India and New Zealand. India lead the series 1-0 presently in the wake of winning the initial Test in Nagpur. The subsequent Test is planned for New Delhi beginning from February 17.
