Zaka Ashraf steps down as PCB chairman

Zaka Ashraf has resigned as the chairman of the Interim Management Committee (IMC), the body heading the PCB. He announced his decision after the fourth meeting of the committee at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on Friday. Ashraf's renunciation came two or three weeks before his latest augmentation as top of the PCB was because of end in the primary seven day stretch of February. The PCB has not yet declared who will assume control over the organization of the board. In November last year, Ashraf was allowed a three-month expansion to go on as the top of the PCB through an administration warning given by the supporter of the board and current break top state leader of Pakistan Anwar ul Haq Kakar. He was initially selected top of the IMC in July last year, and the order of the ten-part body was to conclude the Leading body of Lead representatives (Marsh) and direct decisions for the post of board administrator in four months or less. In any case, when that objective couldn't be accomplished inside the time span, the panel was allowed an additional three months to do as such. Ashraf's residency has had its portion of debate, with an individual from the board blaming him for "egregious mistakes and illegal choices". Aside from Ashraf, the other nine individuals from the IMC are Kalim Ullah Khan, Ashfaq Akhtar, Muhammad Mussadiq Islam, Azmat Pervez, Zaheer Abbas, Khawaja Nadeem, Mustafa Ramday, Zulfiqar Malik, and Khurram Karim Somroo.
